Joanne started reading the tarot professionally in 1994 after many years of using it for herself and her friends, In 1997 Joanne was reading from Ashbeys in Sea Point, And from a bookstore in Sea Point. She then started reading from home and at fairs.

Joanne has now evolved into astro tarot readings, which combine astrology with tarot as well as spiritual counseling. As Joanne has a background in Psychology this has taken a natural direction. The astrology is in combination with the tarot and is psychologically and relationship orientated, with an emphasis on compatibility, personality, vocation, talents and life lessons, from a karmic spiritual point of view.
